Dilemmas & Solutions: The Ancients to the High Middle Ages

This workbook will take high school students through a biblical and historical worldview study of Western Thought. While it covers the Ancients up through the High Middle Ages in the West, it also provides nuance by looking at how Eastern Thought has engaged similar ideas. Worldview studies are part of the academic discipline of the humanities, and the humanities are concerned with answering the central question: What does it mean to be human?As the workbook moves through each historical era, students will engage a central dilemma of being human. Students will unearth these dilemmas through the study of each era’s literature and its philosophy.
