This wheel cuts up to 2 times faster and up to 60% more cuts per charge than competitive aluminum cut-off wheels when used with Makita cordless cut-off saws. An aluminum-oxide construction reinforced with a resinoid bond provides the faster cutting and a longer life. A special additive to the rim bond reduces heat during a cut, thereby improving cutting performance and reducing clogging. It is designed to work with Makita 14” Cut-Off-Saws (XWL01, LW1401, LW1400, sold separately).
