Stone Creek™ BH Bird's Nest – Olive

The Stone Creek™ BH Bird's Nest – Olive is a versatile trout nymph that combines the characteristics of both an attractor pattern and a natural caddis imitation. Featuring a buggy, lifelike profile and a weighted bead head, this proven fly effectively imitates caddis larvae, emerging insects, and a variety of drifting aquatic food sources.

The Olive Bird's Nest is especially effective when trout are feeding on caddis and other subsurface insects but are not locked onto a specific hatch. Its natural coloration, soft movement, and slightly impressionistic design make it an excellent searching pattern in rivers, streams, tailwaters, and freestone fisheries.

The bead head helps the fly reach productive feeding depths quickly, while the buggy silhouette provides the natural appearance that consistently triggers strikes.

Features:
• Effective attractor and caddis imitation pattern
• Olive coloration for a natural presentation
• Weighted bead head for faster sink rates
• Buggy profile creates lifelike movement
• Excellent searching pattern for trout
• Effective in rivers, streams, and tailwaters
• Ideal for indicator fishing, euro nymphing, and tandem rigs

Imitates:
• Caddis Larvae
• Emerging Caddis
• Aquatic Insects
• General Subsurface Forage

Available Color:
• Olive

Available Sizes:
• #12
• #14
• #20

Fishing Tips:
Fish the BH Bird's Nest near the bottom through riffles, seams, runs, and pocket water. It performs exceptionally well as a searching pattern when trout are feeding subsurface but are not focused on a specific insect. Pair it with smaller nymphs or emergers for a highly effective tandem setup.
